		Eva Clarke Eva was born in Mauthausen Concentration Camp, Austria, on 29th April 1945. She and her mother are the only survivors of their family, 15 members of whom were killed in Auschwitz				Freddie Knoller Freddie was born in Vienna in 1921, where he lived with his parents and two brothers.


		Gena Turgel MBE Gena was born in Cracow, Poland in 1923, the youngest of nine children. She was only 16 when the Nazis bombed her home town on 1st September 1939.				Harry Bibring Harry Bibring was born on 26th December 1925 in Vienna.


		Joanna Millan Joanna was born Bela Rosenthal in August 1942 in Berlin.				Kitty Hart-Moxon Kitty was born in Bielsko close to the Polish-German-Czech frontiers in 1926.


		Martin Bennett Martin was born on 25th December 1925 in Izbica Kujawska in Poland. He had 6 brothers and 2 sisters, and lived with his mother and father.				Renee Salt Renee was born Rywka Ruchla Berkowitz in Zdunska Vola, Poland in 1929. She lived with her parents and younger sister, and had many aunts and uncles.


		Rudi Oppenheimer Rudi was born in 1931 in Berlin and lived there with his parents and his older brother Paul until he was four years old.				Ruth Barnett Ruth Michaelis was born in Berlin in 1935. She came to England aged 4, with her 7 year old brother, on the Kindertransport in 1939.


		Susi Bechhofer Susi and her twin, Lotte, were born in Munich in 1936.				Trude Levi Trude was born in 1924 in Szombathely, in Hungary, near the Austrian border.


		Ibi and Waldimir Ginsburg Ibi and Val were married in 1946 after both having suffered the horrors of the Holocaust.				Walter Kammerling Walter was born 1923 in Vienna. He was 14 when Nazi Germany occupied Austria. This was known as the Anschluss.
