The Holocaust Educational Trust works with international partner organisations to promote the UK’s expertise in the field of Holocaust education globally; and through these partnerships we also bring internationally recognised best practice to the UK.
As a member of the UK delegation to the Task Force for International Cooperation on Holocaust Education, Remembrance and Research (ITF), the Trust works closely with representatives from museums, memorial sites, universities, educational organisations and government ministries from around the world.
The ITF was originally founded by the governments of the UK, US and Sweden. Today, it is comprised of delegations from 28 member countries, each of which is committed to achieving the aims of the Stockholm Declaration.
At the December 2010 ITF plenary session, the UK delegation was pleased to submit an updated country report, documenting the state of Holocaust education in the UK.
