The Holocaust Educational Trust advises participants of the Lessons from Auschwitz Project to check their Visa requirements at their earliest convenience, as the processing time for a Schengen Visa can take up to one month and the procedure may be extended.
If you are a national of EU/EEA/EFTA countries you do not need a visa to travel to Poland and you can enter Poland provided that your passport or national identity card is valid at least for the period of your stay in Poland.
How can the Trust help?
The Trust is unable to assist in obtaining visas for anyone wishing to participate on the course; the responsibility of arranging this lies solely with the participant.
However the Trust is able to write a letter confirming that you need a visa as a result of your participation on the course. Please email us for more information.
