We are delighted to announce the launch of a new teaching guide and accompanying classroom resources for primary schools.
A Guide for Primary School Teachers is designed to support the growing number of primary schools which wish to explore issues related to the Holocaust with their students. It is the first comprehensive guide of its kind and will be invaluable to teachers looking to address this subject in a sensitive and meaningful way.
The guide is accompanied by a scheme of work which introduces students to age-appropriate aspects of this challenging history, focussing principally on the fate and experiences of Jewish child refugees from Nazism. Each lesson in the scheme of work comes with a full lesson plan and supporting materials.
