Commenting on reports of antisemitic and racist chants by Chelsea FC fans at a football match in Budapest last night, Chief Executive Karen Pollock MBE said:
"Chants like those heard last night by fans in Budapest are deeply offensive and unacceptable. Chelsea FC are right to condemn this, as do we.
"Over the past year, we have been working closely with the football club to educate about antisemitism and where it can lead, as part of the 'Say No to Antisemitism' project. Whilst we are proud of our work to date, there is clearly more to be done.
"We all need to work together to stamp out antisemitism, to get this pernicious hatred out of our stadiums and out of our society."
