On Tuesday 25th January 2011, students who have participated in the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Lessons from Auschwitz Project joined survivors and dignitaries from across London in marking Holocaust Memorial Day at the Greater London Authority.
Holocaust survivor Mala Tribich and survivor of the Rwandan Genocide Alphonsine Kabagabo joined students who have visited Auschwitz-Birkenau with the Trust in addressing a packed audience.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson and Chair of the Assembly Baroness Dee Doocey AM also spoke at the event, which can be viewed online here.
