Events for Schools

Fleeing Persecution with Bob and Ann Kirk BEM - Friday 20th May 2022, 10am-11.30am (Zoom)

Join our next multi-school Outreach event for students in year 6 and year 7. Your students will take part in a guided lesson led by a Trust facilitator before hearing from Bob and Ann Kirk BEM, who fled Nazi persecution in the late 1930s.

Honouring the Heroes with Henri Obstfeld BEM - Friday 8th July 2022, 10am-11.30am (Zoom)

End the school year by taking part in a special session designed for year 6 and year 7 students. After taking part in a guided lesson from one of our trained facilitators, students will hear from Henri Obstfeld BEM who will talk about the special individuals who helped him to survive Nazi persecution.

The 85th Anniversary of the Establishment of Buchenwald: Harry Spiro BEM and Tracy Moses - Friday 15th July, 10am-11.30am (Zoom)

This multi-school Outreach event is open to students in year 8 and above. The session will be led by a trained facilitator and students will hear about Harry Spiro's experience during the Holocaust, including his time in Buchenwald concentration camp. Harry will be alongside his daughter Tracy and will be able to answer your questions.

Holocaust Educational Trust Book Club

Each month the Trust hosts an online Book Club which is open to everyone! Come and join us for discussions about a wide variety of Holocaust literature and hear from guest speakers and authors.
