British Responses to Nazism and the Holocaust

This lesson aims to increase students’ understanding of how both British institutions and individuals reacted to Nazism and the Holocaust. In so doing, it encourages them to engage with the complexity of human behaviour during the Holocaust and cautions against facile judgements of particular nations as ‘good’ or ‘bad’.
