Holocaust Memorial Day is marked each year on 27th January, the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. The theme for 2019 is Torn from Home.
We have compiled a selection of readings based on this theme which can be used at commemorative events or in the classroom. They can be downloaded here.

The guidance notes include suggestions for how teachers can explore the Torn from Home theme with their students through the Trust's classroom resources.
