What is Supporting Holocaust Survivor Testimony in Teaching?

As the Holocaust moves further into history and knowing that survivors are becoming less able to share their experiences in person, it is vital that this dark period of history continues to be taught in an effective and engaging way. Supporting Holocaust Survivor Testimony in Teaching is an exciting new educational programme, designed to support teachers in bringing this history to life in their classrooms - and to ensure that the legacy of survivors lives on.

Content is designed with the National Curriculum and OFSTED guidance at its core, and will support teachers in ensuring that their students understand what the Holocaust was; have the opportunity to hear the voices of those who witnessed and were affected by the Holocaust; and can explore this history through innovative and new technologies (including VR learning, to explore sites associated with the Holocaust).

Register today, and you will be the first to:

  • Hear about brand new teacher resources (launching in March 2026) - with assembly plans, lesson guidance (cross curricular, including History), and classroom materials;
  • Hear about our upcoming teacher training and CPD (starting in February 2026) - this will include an introduction to pedagogies associated with Holocaust education; guidance on including testimony in the classroom; best practice related to the use of VR and AI in education; and the challenges and opportunity posed by AI in learning;
  • Be invited to apply for your school to take part in Testimony 360 (we'll bring interactive testimony and a full class kit of VR headsets to your school).

We anticipate high demand. Register now to make sure you are notified when our resources and CPD sessions are available.

Join a national movement that is focused on ensuring that young people in every corner of the country have the opportunity to hear the recorded testimony of a Holocaust survivor.
